Program Profiles

The Program Profiles display information from data collected about each program.  Birth to Three looks at how each program performs certain activities that are important to high quality early intervention, then compares each program with other programs that serve about the same number of families. Programs are ranked on each measure, with the lowest performing programs in each group selected for on-site monitoring visits and planned technical assistance in order to improve the quality of their services.

As with any information that comes primarily from an electronic database, the profiles should be read carefully including the notes.  The performance of any program should always be compared to the average for the group and the state.
