Annual Part C Application

Each year Connecticut submits an application to the US Department of Education (USDE) for funds to support the administration of Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA Part C).

NEW 2/17/17 Connecticut’s Federal Application for Part C funds under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) for Federal Fiscal Year 2017 is currently out for public comment until April 18, 2017.   This link will open the 2017-2018 Fiscal Year (FFY17) DRAFT Application.  The document can also be viewed at Birth to Three offices at 450 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT.

Public Comment Notice

Written comment on the application must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.  Comments should be sent to the attention of Alice Ridgway, by mail at the Office of Early Childhood, 450 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, CT, 06103-1835; by Fax 860-622-2789 or by e-mail: Alice.Ridgway@ct.gov.

Two public hearings concerning the proposed application will be held.

  1. Monday, March 20th, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Office of Early Childhood, 450 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, CT, 06103-1835, Meeting Room H Plaza Level
  2. Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at DDS Northwest Regional Center, 195 Alvord Park Road, Torrington, CT 06790 Conference Room.
