About the Presenter:

Jennifer Bogin, M.S.ed, BCBA is the Director of the Division of Autism Spectrum Services at the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services.  In her role she oversees the implementation of two statewide Medicaid waiver programs that provide a variety of services to children and adults on the autism spectrum.  Ms. Bogin previously worked at the UC Davis MIND Institute on Evidence-Based Practices for children with ASD. and began her career in early intervention services for Children on the Autism Spectrum and  their Families in MA.  Ms. Bogin is adjunct faculty at the University of Saint Joseph in the Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis Graduate program. In addition to her training in Applied Behavior Analysis, Ms. Bogin is trained in several relationship-based methods including the Early Start Denver Model.

Focus of the Meeting:

This presentation will focus on how to apply the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to eclectic treatment methodologies and programs.  Topics will include: creative data collection, data driven decision making and behavioral components in relationship-based methodologies.  In addition to didactic teaching, this presentation will include video samples, small group activities and large group discussion.  There will be plenty of time for Questions and Answers
