As usual, Connecticut continues to do very well on both the compliance and results indicators. The APR is due to the US Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs by February 1, 2021. For more information about the SPP, click here. CT Leadership Academy

CT Leadership Academy Application We are excited to announce the application of the CT Leadership Academy is now available. We are looking for those in a leadership position within Birth to Three and/or Early Childhood Special Education to apply for this first cohort. This application will be open until July 1, 2020. The time commitment will include 20 hours a month of intensive technical assistance and training. There will be a stipend awarded to those who participate throughout the full year. Leadership Development Grant Update

The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) and UConn Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) have fully executed an MOA and can begin working on the Leadership Grant, which was awarded last fall. The leadership grant will further essential work in early childhood. The OEC is excited to collaborate with UConn’s team in developing a curriculum and implement the leadership program.
