Office of Early Childhood, 450 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, CT. Park at Morgan Street Garage, 155 Morgan St., Hartford, CT ($12.48 for the day). Plan on arriving by 8:30 to park, walk the 1 block and get through security (need picture ID), cafeteria in building.
The Service Coordination Certificate is required for all Early Interventionists who will be functioning as service coordinators for families.
PRE-REQUISITE REQUIREMENTS – All requirements MUST be completed PRIOR TO the one day training:
Completion of all online modules, exam and received the Birth to Three Initial Certificate
Completion of all online modules and online exam required for the Service Coordinator Certificate
Minimally, completion of 3 required observations at your program: Initial Evaluation, Initial IFSP, IFSP Review or Annual.
YOU MUST BRING COPIES OF THE 1) BIRTH TO THREE INITIAL CERTIFICATE and 2) COMPLETION OF SERVICE COORDINATOR MODULES/EXAM CERTIFICATE to the in-person training or you will not be allowed to complete the training. These are printed from TRAIN after completion of online modules.
MAKE SURE you leave enough time to complete the modules and exams. There are approximately 10 hours of modules and 2 short exams. If you have technical problems accessing the modules TRY USING A DIFFERENT BROWSER. If problems continue contact danny.white@ct.gov or at 860-509-7557.
