Increase Your Self-Awareness & Reflective Capacity about Diversity, and Find Your Voice as a Champion for Children Conference Description: The Diversity-Informed Tenets for Work with Infants,Children and Families (Tenets) Initiative will offer an overview of the Tenets and allow participants to link the Tenets to their sphere of practice. Tenets workshops seek to engage participants in a collaborative journey to help them reach deeper levels of awareness and also link the participants’ insights, challenges and discoveries so new levels of practice and knowledge are reached. The workshops lead participants through reflective exercises and consider how their work can be revised with the integration of the Tenets. Participants may also identify personal and organizational leverage points and develop action plans for furthering diversity, equity and inclusion principles within their organization. The Tenet facilitators are partners in this process.
