DESCRIPTION:Please read below for protraxx and zoom information! \nFrom Devereux: \nThis training will introduce the use of the FLIP IT strategy to work through conflict with staff\, with the parents and families of children in your care\, and even with yourself. What was originally created for use with young children (3-8 years old) can now be adapted for use with adults. Participants will learn how FLIP IT can become a go-to strategy that will create healthy habits for coping and problem-solving during challenging moments.\n\nWe also have some really wonderful content on the topic of adult resilience.  This content would be great for those who participate in the training but also content that they can use with child care providers/families.\n\nRegister for Protraxx here\nCourse number: 349-26-B23-052\n\n\n then\nRegister for Zoom link here \nPlease ensure you register for the ZOOM link at the same time you register for the Protraxx class. Only those who do both and attend the complete training will have their attendance recording in Protraxx (Devereux will supply the attendance report to the LA). DESCRIPTION:Registration typically opens the day after the previous in-person training concludes and can be reached through the Protraxx course catalog. Important! Please read all the way through till the end! \nREGISTRATION and Prerequisites submissions CLOSES ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE TRAINING! \nRequired no later than one week prior to in-person training: \n\nregistration for the service coordination class and the service coordination prerequisites class\ncompletion of CT Birth to Three Initial Training badge (may require 1-2 days to reflect badge awarded but don’t worry submissions are dated)\ncompletion of service coordination perquisite badge (may require 1-2 days to reflect badge awarded but don’t worry submissions are dated!)\nupload completed\, signed attestation of observation to prerequisite course Attestation of Observation Form\n\nPeriodically monitor the email associated with Protraxx and the grade book associated with the Prerequisite Course for communications. \nRegistrants will remain pending until the receipt and verification of prerequisite submissions prior to submission deadline. \nStarting August 1st\, 2025 all prerequisite modules will be accessed through CT OEC course catalog tied to Protraxx \nNew user registration link \nCourse catalog link (if this is the first time you are accessing directly after first registering you may have to close once and login again) \nGuide to most actions on Protraxx \nComplete all online modules and insure you have received the two badges associated with completing the CT Birth to Three Initial Certificate and the Service Coordination Prerequisite Learning Path (confirm in your Protraxx training history). These are due no later than one week prior to training. \nMinimally\, complete 3 required observations at your program: Initial Evaluation\, Initial IFSP\, IFSP Review or Annual. The Attestation of Observation form must be filled out\, signed by you Program’s training supervisor and uploaded to the correct assignment in the perquisite course \nUpload prerequisites here! \nAll 3 assignments must be received by the deadline. No later than one week prior to training in order to attend the in-person training.  Certificates received after this date can be retained for the next training date. Additional information on how to upload assignments can be found here: How to upload assignments \nMAKE SURE you leave enough time to complete the modules and exams. There are approximately 15 hours of modules and 2 short exams. If problems you have questions or difficulties\, please contact you program’s training supervisor. \nPeriodically monitor the email associated with Protraxx and the grade book associated with the Prerequisite Course for communications \nIf you are eligible to be a service coordinator\, at completion of the one day in-person training you will receive the Service Coordinator Certificate. Sadly\, too many adults caring for children are facing stress and burnout\, and struggling to show up each and every day with a resilient mindset. The focus will be on YOUR resilience\, YOUR well-being\, YOUR overall health and happiness. Simple strategies that can reduce your stress and increase your ability to focus\, to be patient\, to show empathy\, to feel capable\, to set limits\, and to feel joy will be shared.
