Home Visiting

Birth to Three home visiting follows family- centered best practicies including provision of learning opportunities in natural environments, coaching as a strategyfor interacting with families, and primary provider approach to services and teaming.

Learning opportunities in natural environments are present within the child and family’s normal daily routines. Strategies are developed with the family that allow for practice and carry thorough  many times during the day, within the context of naturally occurring family activities.

Coaching is a style of interaction that allows the interventionist and  family the opportunity to collaboratively identify child or family needs, problem solve, practice strategies, and reflect.    This supports and enables the family’s ability to achieve their identified outcomes and  priorities.
