The Office of Early Childhood, Behavioral Health Initiatives Webinar on Thursday, May 30th

May 24, 2024

Please join the Office of Early Childhood, Behavioral Health Initiatives’ upcoming webinar: The Air We All Breathe: The Essence of Mental Health and How We All Have a Connection to It.  May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but mental health is important year-round. Why? Mental health is for everyone, both young and young at heart. We want to bring attention to the importance of mental health, as it relates to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, identity, socio-economic status, religion, ability, or educational background. We are also reminded of the importance of self-care, and how the children we raise, and/or help raise, depend on us as adults to be healthy and to role model healthy behaviors. We want to promote destigmatization of mental health and illness by continuing the conversation in support of overall health and wellness.

  • Opening Keynote Speaker: Representative Kai Belton
  • Engaging panel discussion
  • Closing Message Speaker:  Commissioner Jodi Hill-Lilly, CT Department of Children and Families
