Service Coordination In-Person Training
Registration typically opens the day after the previous in-person training concludes and can be reached through the Protraxx course catalog. Important! Please read all the way through till the end!
REGISTRATION and Prerequisites submissions CLOSES ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE TRAINING!
Required no later than one week prior to in-person training:
- registration for the service coordination class and the service coordination prerequisites class
- completion of CT Birth to Three Initial Training badge (may require 1-2 days to reflect badge awarded but don’t worry submissions are dated)
- completion of service coordination perquisite badge (may require 1-2 days to reflect badge awarded but don’t worry submissions are dated!)
- upload completed, signed attestation of observation to prerequisite course Attestation of Observation Form
Periodically monitor the email associated with Protraxx and the grade book associated with the Prerequisite Course for communications.
Registrants will remain pending until the receipt and verification of prerequisite submissions prior to submission deadline.
Starting August 1st, 2025 all prerequisite modules will be accessed through CT OEC course catalog tied to Protraxx

Complete all online modules and insure you have received the two badges associated with completing the CT Birth to Three Initial Certificate and the Service Coordination Prerequisite Learning Path (confirm in your Protraxx training history). These are due no later than one week prior to training.
Minimally, complete 3 required observations at your program: Initial Evaluation, Initial IFSP, IFSP Review or Annual. The Attestation of Observation form must be filled out, signed by you Program’s training supervisor and uploaded to the correct assignment in the perquisite course
All 3 assignments must be received by the deadline. No later than one week prior to training in order to attend the in-person training. MAKE SURE you leave enough time to complete the modules and exams. There are approximately 15 hours of modules and 2 short exams. If problems you have questions or difficulties, please contact you program’s training supervisor.

If you are eligible to be a service coordinator, at completion of the one day in-person training you will receive the Service Coordinator Certificate. (Printable from Protraxx). Staff supporting CT children and families indirectly may receive contact hours in lieu of the service coordinator certificate.
