Please join the Office of Early Childhood, Behavioral Health Initiatives’ upcoming webinar: Above all else- From Impossible to I-am-Possible: A Head Start Approach to Moving Forward.
The month of January is often symbolic of starting fresh, a new beginning, overcoming challenges from the past and embracing opportunities in the future. As we enter into a new year, many families and providers are facing challenging times like never before…and what adults face, children are susceptible to feel. This webinar will feature principles and values associated with Head Start, highlighting the importance of building a solid foundation promoting children’s healthy growth and social and emotional development, factors embodying what Head Start is about. We aim for the webinar to be empowering, sharing information that is inspiring…drawing light on what is possible in the midst of challenging times.
The session will include:
- Keynote Speaker: Thea Montañez, Senior Advisor in the Office of the Governor
- Engaging Panel Discussion facilitated by Dr. Haley Scott-DeClerck, Primary Prevention Services Coordinator at OEC

Participa en el próximo seminario web de la Oficina de la Primera Infancia (OEC) de Connecticut sobre Behavioral Health Initiatives (iniciativas para la salud conductual): Above all else- From Impossible to I-am-Possible: A Head Start Approach to Moving Forward (Por encima de todo- De pensar que es imposible a creer en lo posible: Un enfoque de Head Start para seguir adelante).
El mes de enero suele simbolizar un nuevo comienzo: empezar de nuevo, superar desafíos del pasado y aprovechar oportunidades futuras. Al iniciar un nuevo año, muchas familias y cuidadores enfrentan momentos difíciles como nunca antes, y aquello que atraviesan los adultos también impacta en los niños. En este seminario web se presentarán principios y valores asociados con Head Start, con el fin de destacar la importancia de construir una base sólida que promueva el crecimiento saludable de los niños y su desarrollo social y emocional, aspectos que reflejan la esencia de Head Start. El objetivo es que el seminario sea empoderador, transmita información inspiradora y ponga en valor lo que es posible incluso en tiempos desafiantes.
La sesión incluirá lo siguiente:
