Please join the Office of Early Childhood and the Parent Cabinet: Wellness, Engagement, Lasting Leadership (W.E.L.L.) Subcommittee for an in-person Family Check-In Community Conversation.

Hello All,

Hope this message finds you all well and feeling the warmth of sunshine.  Please join the Office of Early Childhood and the Parent Cabinet: Wellness, Engagement, Lasting Leadership (W.E.L.L.) Subcommittee for an in-person Family Check-In Community Conversation.  We look forward to hosting our second in-person event; our goal is to host community conversations throughout the year at each of the six Connecticut regions represented by Parent Cabinet members.

With all that is going on in and around families and communities at large, the purpose for these gatherings is to allow space for parents/caregivers to come together for a “family check-in” to share what matters most to their family.  This is intended to be a welcoming, supportive space for parents and caregivers to know they are not alone, support is available to them, and to receive/share information about supportive resources. Our next community conversation is Saturday, April 18th in Stamford, CT.

What to expect:

  • An adult conversation about what matters most
  • Guided mindfulness activity for parents and caregivers
  • Childcare provided for children ages 3 and older
  • Light refreshments offered (and more- see registration link for details)

When: Saturday, April 18th from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM

Where: Stamford, CT (address shared when registering)
