The SSIP process includes the active participation from stakeholders including members of the Birth to Three Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC), CT Birth to Three program directors, the director of Child Development Infoline, and representatives from Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center. Input is also gathered from lead agency staff, regional provider meetings, the data system users group, and other staff from the Office of Early Childhood.
The State-identified Measurable Result that stakeholders selected is that:
Parents of children who have a diagnosed condition will be able to describe their child’s abilities and challenges more effectively as a result of their participation in Early Intervention.
