In response to these concerns The Arc Connecticut has been working with a group of families to establish an organization that would assist people with I/DD with (1) independent ad-vocacy for services and supports; (2) benefits education and management; (3) quality oversight when parents, siblings and caregivers are no longer able to be part of an individual’s support group. Draft SPP/APR is Now Online!

This is a link to the draft of the combined State Performance Plan / Annual Performance Report.   It is a very long document, best viewed online.  As usual, Connecticut continues to do very well on both the compliance and results indicators. The APR is due to the US Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs by February 3, 2020.  For more information about the SPP, click here.  Indicator (11), also known as the SSIP will be completed for an April 1, 2020 submission.
